DESCRIPTION:What’s involved\n\n\nExperience a day at the St Lucia campus of UQ.\nHear from world-leading scholars in the study of religion.\nLearn about specific religions and the place of religion in the contemporary world.\nTake part in sessions on topics such as Islam and Society\, Science and Religion Conflict\, Hinduism: Sacred Texts\, and Abraham Joshua Heschel and the Meaning of the Sabbath in 20th-century America.\n\n\nWho should attend\n\n\nYear 11 students who are currently studying religion at school or who have a keen interest in arts and humanities.\nTeachers.\n\n\nCost\n\n\nRegistration is $5 per student.\nThere are no costs for teachers.\n\n\nContact\n\nFor more information\, email engagement@hass.uq.edu.au.\n
