About the Scholarship

UQ Law School's Leadership, Excellence and Diversity (LEAD) Scholarship aims to increase diversity and equity in the UQ Law student community and offers successful students:

  • financial support of $8,000/year up to five years
  • a dedicated academic mentor
  • a non-residential membership at a UQ college
  • regular community events with our scholarship community.

In 2023, there are up to 17 scholarships available to new and/or continuing students.

Who should attend

This event is suitable for parents, career counselors, educators and any students who graduated from senior schooling in 2020, 2021 or 2022 and who are also interested in studying law at UQ either as a single or dual program.
