Studying abroad is an incredible opportunity, but it can be expensive. Fortunately, the Australian Government’s Destination Australia scholarship program may help reduce the financial burden.
These generous scholarships are valued at A$15,000 per year (for up to 4 years) and are available to students starting an eligible program at The University of Queensland’s (UQ) Gatton campus.
Harsh Kirpal Pahuja is completing a Master of Animal Science at UQ and received a Destination Australia scholarship.
“My brother is actually funding my study, so receiving the Destination Australia scholarship has reduced the financial burden on him tremendously,” he said.
“It’s a huge scholarship, which has meant I’ve been able to focus more on my studies and try to do well academically.”
