Bachelor of Arts (Honours)

Explore the structure of language, its uses and its applications in society by connecting theoretical, descriptive and applied studies that address problems and issues in human communication.

This major focuses on developing your academic research skills by introducing you to current linguistic research, as well as fundamental aspects of preparing a research thesis.

You'll complete an intensive research project under the guidance of a supervisor. This includes developing a relevant topic, writing a literature review, preparing a research proposal and applying appropriate methodologies in your work.
