Overview Study details

Politics includes studies of political structures, processes and policies in Australia as well as other societies.

You'll learn about the ideas and ideologies that shape political decision-making, and the approaches to cooperation and conflict resolution in the international system.

You'll study the interactions of state and market through case studies, and at a more general level through studying theories of governance and politics.

When you graduate, you'll understand the institutions that govern society and solve collective action problems.
