The experiments will involve testing the relational account against other, feature-specific accounts, using classical behavioural paradigms from Cognitive Psychology, eye tracking, EEG and fMRI.
Research environment
Successful applicants can expect full access to all necessary research resources, including the labs housing eye trackers and/or EEG systems, which are all at the School of Psychology. Successful applicants will be provided with a desktop computer and space in a shared office at or near the School of Psychology. UQ offers a vibrant intellectual environment and is regularly ranked highly in all global research / education rankings. Our PhD students regularly present their work at national and international conferences and workshops and are encouraged to engage in networking.
