This major focuses on the political, institutional, economic, social and ideological forces that shape Australian governance and public policy.
You'll undertake two year-long compulsory courses to understand contemporary research relevant to public policy, and apply academic research methodologies to your field.
This will prepare you for a year-long honours research project in which you'll work with a supervisor to develop and complete all aspects of a thesis. This includes developing a suitable topic, creating a statement of intent for your work, applying appropriate methodologies and presenting your written conclusions.
