Provisional entry
If you're in your final year of high school (Queensland Year 12 or equivalent) on your first attempt, you're eligible to apply for provisional entry into our pathway programs.
Central Queensland and Wide Bay regional medical pathway
Based in Rockhampton and Bundaberg, study your undergraduate pathway to medicine program at CQUniversity (CQUni) and complete your MD at our Rural Clinical School in Central Queensland or Wide Bay.
Darling Downs and South West Qld medical pathway
Based in Toowoomba, study your undergraduate pathway to medicine program at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) and complete your MD at our Rural Clinical School in the Darling Downs – South West region.
Graduate entry
If you already have a degree and want to study in rural or regional Queensland, you can apply through GEMSAS and nominate your preferred region.
Central Queensland – Wide Bay Regional Medical pathway
Study your MD through the Rural Clinical School in Central Queensland or Wide Bay.
Darling Downs and South West Qld medical pathway
Spend the first year of your MD in Greater Brisbane, and the remaining years at Rural Clinical School sites in the Darling Downs and South West regions.
