Admission schemes (MD provisional entry)
Boost your selection rank and improve your chances of getting into the Doctor of Medicine.
How it works
If you're eligible for adjustments, your ATAR, International Baccalaureate (IB), or previous study or experience will be converted to a selection rank. The adjustments will then be added to this rank to create your adjusted selection rank.
Each adjustment is equivalent to 1 rank. You can receive a maximum of 5 adjustments in total across all schemes. If you already have an ATAR or selection rank of 99.95 or above, adjustments won't boost your rank.
We'll use your adjusted selection rank to assess your application, so you may be able to get into more UQ programs.
In some cases you'll receive adjustments automatically, but for some schemes you will need to apply or provide evidence.
Example
92.00 – your ATAR or original selection rank
+
2 adjustments from the Rural Access Scheme
+
2 adjustments from the School Opportunity Scheme
=
96.00 – the adjusted selection rank we'll use to assess your application
Example
93.00 – your ATAR or original selection rank
+
3 adjustments from the Subject Incentive Scheme
=
96.00 – the adjusted selection rank we'll use to assess your application
