Benefits of assigning intellectual property (IP) to UQ

PhD candidates who assign their IP to UQ get the same benefits and protections as University staff. This means UQ will negotiate to commercialise and protect your work and will provide administrative, legal, financial and commercial expertise – and bear the cost. You will receive a share of any commercial returns.
