Get ready for UQ (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MD entry)
This pathway is only available for domestic students.
We can't wait to meet you! Here's what you need to do to get ready to study at UQ.
Applying for a visa
You need a valid visa to study in Australia. Make sure you apply for your visa as soon as you receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from UQ.
Preparing to move to Brisbane
Moving to a new city is an exciting experience, and there's a lot to think about.
We'll help you plan what you need to do before you travel, when you arrive and as you settle into your new life as a UQ student.
Starting at UQ
In the weeks leading up to the semester, we'll let you know when your student account is ready. You can then begin working through our Starting at UQ website.
Starting at UQ will walk you through the essential steps to prepare for semester, including:
- enrolling in courses
- creating your timetable
- attending orientation.
