Submit your application

Ready to apply? You need to apply online directly to UQ.

We recommend applying well before the closing date. This gives UQ and your home university plenty of time to organise your study.

Before you apply

Make sure you get approval from your home university and confirm you can get credit for your UQ studies.

Step 1: Create an account

Create an account in UQ Online Applications.

If you can't access UQ Online Applications, contact us.

Step 2: Complete your application

Complete all details on the application form and include all required documents. You can save an incomplete form and return later.

You will need to provide a complete academic transcript and/or testamurs for any non-UQ studies. The transcript should list:

  • all courses you studied
  • any degrees or diplomas you were awarded.

Upload documents as PDFs to reduce their file size.

Step 3: Submit your application

When you're satisfied your application is complete, submit it.

Closing dates

Make sure you submit your application by the closing date:

  • Semester 1: 31 January
  • Semester 2: 30 June
  • Summer Semester: 31 October.

We may consider late applications, but this can't be guaranteed.

Step 4: Manage your application

  • track the progress of your application
  • upload documentation
  • provide referee details
  • withdraw your application
  • accept, decline or defer an offer
  • pay all or part of your fees
