Doctor of Medicine graduate entry
If you've completed a key degree, or are in your final year of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), you can apply for the graduate entry pathway.
This pathway provides direct entry into the Doctor of Medicine (MD).
Graduate entry pathways
Depending on your circumstances and where you want to study, there are different graduate entry pathways you can take into the UQ MD.
Greater Brisbane graduate entry pathway
If you’ve completed a key degree, or are in your final year of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), you can apply for the Greater Brisbane graduate entry pathway.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduate entry pathway
You can apply through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit (ATSISU) and/or Graduate Entry Medical School Admissions System (GEMSAS).
Central Queensland – Wide Bay Regional Medical pathway
Study your MD through the Rural Clinical School in Central Queensland or Wide Bay.
Darling Downs – South West Medical pathway
Spend the first year of your MD in Greater Brisbane, and the remaining years at Rural Clinical School sites in the Darling Downs and South West regions.

UQ-Ochsner
If you're a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and have completed a key degree, or are in your final year of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), you can apply for the UQ-Ochsner MD program.
