Secure your place at UQ for Semester 1, 2025.

Guaranteed entry

We offer guaranteed entry to most undergraduate programs based on minimum ATAR thresholds, giving you certainty when applying to UQ so you can focus on planning for 2025 and beyond.

What you'll need to do

If your QTAC preferences include a UQ undergraduate program, you will automatically be considered for the ATAR guarantee – you don’t need to do anything extra.

Find your program

Find your preferred program below and check the guaranteed entry score for Semester 1, 2025. You're also eligible if you have an equivalent selection rank or International Baccalaureate score.

Check the requirements

Make sure you meet any prerequisites or other entry requirements. Check the program page for details.

Apply

Apply through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) and list the UQ program you most want to study as your first preference.

Boost your score with adjustments

Our guaranteed thresholds include adjustments, which can increase your entry score. You may be eligible for adjustments based on your background and personal circumstances.

These guaranteed entry scores are for Semester 1, 2025 only and will apply for offers made up until the main offer round in January 2025. Some programs don’t have a guarantee because they’re highly competitive, have limited places or have other entry requirements.
