We can't wait to meet you! Here's what you need to do to get ready to study at UQ.
Applying for a visa
You need a valid visa to study in Australia. Make sure you apply for your visa as soon as you receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from UQ.
Preparing to move to Brisbane
Moving to a new city is an exciting experience, and there's a lot to think about.
Find out what you need to do before you travel, when you arrive and as you settle into your new life as a UQ student with our guide.
When reviewing accommodation options, you may also consider Semester in Australia (SiA) housing, which provides accommodation tailored for study abroad and exchange students.
Starting at UQ
We'll let you know when your student account is ready in the weeks leading up to the semester. You can then begin working through our Starting at UQ website.
Starting at UQ will take you through everything you need to do to become a UQ student, including:
- enrolling in courses
- creating your timetable
- attending orientation.
Hear from past study abroad and exchange students about starting at UQ.
Now that you're a UQ student, you should also familiarise yourself with UQ's academic integrity and student conduct policies.
