About the experience
A Tertiary Experience Day (TED) is an opportunity for schools, community and scholarship program students to experience our vibrant St Lucia campus and get a glimpse into student life.
TED provides information about the opportunities that UQ can offer for future Indigenous students.
What to expect
Connect with UQ
A TED is your chance to get connected with UQ. You'll:
- be hosted by the Outreach and Engagement team from the ATSISU
- meet current Indigenous university students
- tour the ATSISU
- enjoy an ATSISU lunch with Indigenous academics, staff and students.
Your experience
The day includes:
- a full day campus experience day
- an 'Amazing Race' campus tour
- interactive workshops with faculties
- an information session with ATSISU Student Success Team.
How to participate
Before you apply for an experience day, make sure you meet the following requirements.
Number of attendees
A maximum of 50 students are allowed in a group.
When to book
A minimum of 4 weeks' notice is required.
Who can book
Bookings can be made by:
- Guidance Officers
- Community Engagement Counsellors
- other authorised school contacts.
Ready to book?
How to book
- Confirm your school group meets the TED requirements.
- Identify an ideal date within the 4 week notice period.
- Complete our TED confirmation form (DOCX, 44.67 KB) and email to outreach.atsis@uq.edu.au.
- An Outreach and Engagement Officer will then contact your to coordinate and confirm your TED.
