Review admission schemes

Doctor of Medicine

Admission schemes can improve your chances of getting into the Doctor of Medicine.

If you're studying high school from Australia and applying for the Provisional Entry pathway, you may be eligible for 'adjustments' through an admission scheme. Adjustments can help boost your entry score.

UQ Subject Incentive Scheme

Depending on the subjects you've studied at school, you may be eligible for up to 5 adjustments towards your entry score.

Subject Incentive Scheme

You may be eligible for our admission schemes based on:

  • where you live
  • your background and personal circumstances
  • the subjects you studied at school.

Many of our admission schemes use 'adjustments' to boost your selection rank or GAMSAT score.

You can receive a maximum of 5 adjustments across all schemes. If you already have an ATAR or selection rank of 99.95 or above, adjustments won't boost your rank.
