Who is eligible
You’re eligible if you're:
- an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- applying through QTAC.
How to apply
Just apply through QTAC as usual and identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in your application.
You’ll then automatically receive the 5 adjustments.
Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) applicants
If you’re applying for the Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) you won’t be required to sit the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT ANZ).
As part of your application you'll need to complete the Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) admission scheme application form (PDF, 324.19 KB) and email it to atsisaltentry@uq.edu.au.
Doctor of Medicine applicants
If you’re applying for the Doctor of Medicine additional application support is available.
What happens next
If you meet the entry requirements, you’ll receive a conditional offer through QTAC.

We will reach out and ask you to provide proof of your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage before Census Date.
This admissions scheme is only available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
