Climate Finance Essentials

Delivered by Executive Education

Overview

In today’s evolving economic and regulatory landscape, leaders face mounting pressure to manage the financial impacts of climate change. Without a clear grasp of climate finance, leaders risk exposure to regulatory non-compliance and missed opportunities in the transition to a low-carbon economy, amongst other pitfalls.

This course introduces the essentials of climate finance, equipping you with practical tools to influence and integrate climate considerations into strategic decisions, and comply with climate-related reporting obligations. Through interactive activities, you will explore climate financial investments (e.g. green bonds), sustainability reporting and corporate decarbonisation. By addressing challenges such as greenwashing, disclosure requirements, and rising demand for credible climate action, this course builds confidence to navigate green capital markets and assess climate risks to support sustainable growth.
