State Library of Queensland

The State Library has long been a hub for students, freelancers and entrepreneurs. Located along the river in South Brisbane, it offers air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, access to research materials and a cafe. You can even book a window bay (for up to 4 people) to secure a study space overlooking the river. Additionally, you can reserve computers and other research equipment. Check availability and book up to 3 hours at a time through The Edge online platform.
UQ's Walter Harrison Law Library
Another great study spot is the UQ Law Library, which is open to students 24/7. Alumni, Community members and visitors can access the Walter Harrison Law Library from 7am – 10pm during Mondays to Fridays and 7am – 6pm during weekends, excluding public holidays. With Wi-Fi, research resources, ample study spaces and computers, the space has everything you need for a successful study session.
