
This major is for anyone who wants to work in banking and finance, investment and portfolio management, corporate finance, risk assessment or business analysis.
The courses you study will teach you how to use research methods to understand financial problems, as well as debt and equity capital markets, funds management and private equity.
You'll study advanced courses in theoretical or applied finance and undertake research in your chosen area of interest. Then, you'll choose to study either corporate finance with a strong focus on practical applications, or empirical research methods.
Graduates enjoy careers in corporate finance, investment banking, management and financial consulting.
