You'll acquire skills in media management, learn to identify and manage organisational issues and crises, and develop industry materials and strategic campaigns for real client organisations.
Graduates will gain a critical understanding of the role played by public relations locally and globally, examined within ethical, socially responsible and legal frameworks. Work will typically be found in PR, government, corporate, the media and NGO sectors.

There were a lot of opportunities for practical knowledge and growth and I needed that. Working where I am now, I can see how the courses were relevant and I use my knowledge every day.
I gained very practical and relevant knowledge that continue to be really useful beyond my degree.
The communications program balances out the research and practical aspect of the curriculum. I have gained both research and industrial experience in public relations through this program, and I feel more confident about the skills needed for my future.
