Explore the exciting career paths open to you at UQ’s free, career-focused event for high school students.
Event sessions
You're invited to participate in our engaging and interactive career-focused sessions run by our academic staff.
You’ll have the chance to identify your strengths and interests, and find out how to turn these into a fulfilling career. It's also the perfect opportunity to see UQ’s beautiful St Lucia campus and check out our state-of-the-art facilities too.
What's involved
The day will begin with a Q&A panel where you’ll hear from current UQ students and get all your questions about university answered. They’ll talk about how UQ can help you carve out an exciting career path and prepare you for employment.
You’ll be able to nominate three career-focused sessions you wish to attend to discover the types of exciting careers you could pursue in various areas.
You can explore your interests with sessions focusing on:
- Sustainability
- Innovation
- Technology
- Leadership
- Human Connection
An event program outlining specific session topics will be available soon.
There will be regular breaks throughout the day, with lunch provided.
Who should attend
- Year 10, 11 and 12 students
- Teachers and guidance officers.
