This optional major enables you to pursue a research-focused career in hospital pharmacy, the pharmacy industry or academia.
In your final year you'll have the opportunity to complete a yearlong research project while working as a part of a research team. You'll expand your knowledge and develop high-level skills in critical and analytical thinking, research design, writing and project management.
After graduating, you'll have the option to further develop your research skills through a PhD or Master of Philosophy.
Entry to this major is competitive, based on your grade point average and project availability.
