The Doctor of Medicine (MD) is a postgraduate program, which means you'll complete undergraduate study before entering the MD. UQ offers several ways to get there, depending on your interests and study goals.
Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine
Designed for future doctors, the Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine combines undergraduate and postgraduate study in a single vertical dual degree.
This is UQ's dedicated program for students who want to become doctors.
Provisional entry to the Doctor of Medicine
The provisional entry pathway allows you to complete an undergraduate degree in another field before progressing to the Doctor of Medicine.
This option gives you the flexibility to explore another area of interest while working towards a future career in medicine.
