My arts degree was packed full of hands-on experiences at every stage...In my Anthropology study I had several internship opportunities with the Native Title Registry at the Federal Court and on kinship systems with the Central Land Council in Alice Springs.
Through my study in the honours program I was able to move into my current position as an anthropologist with The Central Land Council based in the small town of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.
My anthropology courses have allowed me to learn about different cultures, rituals and practices that I wasn't very aware of before studying at UQ. The best thing about my program has been learning new things every day.
