Applying for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours)
If you're applying for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours), you'll need to sit an online situational judgement test called Casper.
Along with the Casper test, you still have to meet all other entry requirements for the program. Check the requirements on the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) program page.
About the Casper test
We recognise that skills and attributes such as resilience, critical thinking and communication are essential for veterinarians, but are not always reflected in academic performance alone.
The situational judgement test will be used to select and identify applicants who are best suited to the rigours of veterinary science and the profession.
When taking the Casper test, you'll need access to a computer, internet connection and webcam. Using a tablet to take the test is not recommended.
There are no designated testing centres – you can complete the test anywhere that has a reliable internet connection. The registration process includes system checks and internet connection speed tests.
