How to apply

Check your eligibility, what documents you'll need and how to submit your application.

Step 1: Check your eligibility

You're eligible if you're:

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • currently in Years 10-12
  • available for the full open day experience.

Step 2: Prepare your application

When you submit the online application, you'll need to include:

  • your own and your parent or guardian’s contact details
  • a letter of support from your referee
  • the number of unexplained absences you’ve had in the past term
  • some short answers to questions about your study interests.

The letter of support can be written by a teacher, principal, guidance officer or school counsellor. It should outline:

  • why they believe you’d benefit from attending this experience
  • a brief description of your school attendance history from the past year
  • any other details that might help us get to know you and your interests better.

Please speak to your parent or guardian before completing the application, as they will be sent a consent form if you are successful (we cannot secure your place without this).

Step 3: Submit your application

Gather your supporting documents and complete the online form. The form should take you about 10 minutes.

Applications close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 9 December 2025.
