Building Cross-Sectoral Trust and Relationships

Delivered by Executive Education in partnership with Queensland Futures Institute (QFI)

Overview

Building trusted relationships is at the heart of effective governance and collaboration. Trust can be fostered by demonstrating understanding and care, sound judgement, and consistency in words and deeds.

Collaboration is most effective when leaders create safe spaces for open, honest and useful conversations, which helps to break down barriers and build strong, cooperative relationships. Trust-building is a continuous process that underpins successful partnerships and long-term collaboration.
