Project description

Three to four scholarships will be offered, all focusing on coarse particle processing, with a specific emphasis on:

  • Flotation Chemistry
  • Process Control
  • Geometallurgy
  • Comminution

Depending on the project, potential supervisors include:

This project is supported by the Research project scholarship.

This scholarship includes:

  • living stipend of $36,400 per annum tax free (2025 rate), indexed annually
  • a top-up of $5,000 per annum is also available
  • tuition fees covered.

Preferred educational background

Your application will be assessed on a competitive basis.

We take into account your:

  • previous academic record
  • publication record
  • honours and awards
  • employment history

A working knowledge of minerals processing and minerals flotation would be of benefit to someone working on this project.

You will demonstrate academic achievement in the field/s of minerals processing, chemistry or chemical engineering and the potential for scholastic success.

A background or knowledge of minerals processing is highly desirable.
