This program gives you the scientific, economic and social knowledge to improve food security, sustainability and human health.
You'll gain industry experience from the start. Field visits and guest lectures show you sustainable agriculture and animal systems in action, and you'll complete a major project in your final year.
Specialise in Crop Science (agronomy and horticulture) or Animal Science (livestock production, care and management), and build a strong foundation in biological concepts, ecology of agricultural systems, chemistry, data analysis, digital agriculture and sustainable practices along the way.
No prior agricultural experience is required. This program is for anyone curious about science, sustainability or technology, wherever you're starting from.
You'll graduate ready for a fast-changing industry, with the skills to help protect Australia's agriculture from pests and diseases.

PTE Academic - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands.
BE - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills.
CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands.
OET is not accepted.

Student visas
International students who are accepted into full-time study in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science are eligible to apply for an Australian student visa (subclass 500).
