Chemical and Environmental Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of EngineeringChemical and environmental engineers apply the principles of engineering and science to protect and mitigate damage to the environment. They also develop environmentally friendly products and sustainable processes.
With this field of study, you'll tackle current and future environmental challenges as an accredited chemical engineer with additional technical expertise in environmental regulations and sustainable management of water, energy and waste.
You'll work on the development of sustainable systems and gain specialist skills in modelling and analytical measurement in laboratory, field and industrial settings, including basic sampling design and data analysis.
This field of study combines our undergraduate engineering program with master’s level coursework and a semester-long placement or research thesis with an industry or research partner. These courses are designed to provide specialist knowledge of the various disciplines and place you closer to the leading edge of technology.
Business needs graduates who can apply new technologies to existing and emerging industries. The master’s courses will give you a clear advantage when applying for jobs that require advanced skills and capabilities.
