Become qualified to assist people with a range of injuries and ailments. In this program you’ll learn how to care for people with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory and other conditions, using techniques to reduce pain, improve movement and restore mobility and function. You’ll develop the skills and knowledge to lead and support healthcare teams in the community and shape future healthcare practices.
You'll study the theory and practice behind physiotherapy, including injury prevention, health promotion, clinical reasoning and diagnosis, therapeutic interventions, exercise prescription and optimising function to enhance the health of individuals and communities.
You'll also undertake supervised clinical practice in a range of clinical settings that include hospitals, educational facilities, healthcare organisations, aged and community care, private practice and UQ’s Physiotherapy Clinics.

HECS-HELP
Domestic places in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) are Commonwealth Supported. This means the cost of your education is shared between you and the Australian Government.
