Building Cross-Sectoral Trust and Relationships

Delivered by Executive Education in partnership with Queensland Futures Institute (QFI)

Overview

Building trusted relationships is at the heart of effective governance and collaboration. Trust can be fostered by demonstrating understanding and care, sound judgement, and consistency in words and deeds.

Collaboration is most effective when leaders create safe spaces for open, honest, and useful conversations, breaking down barriers and building strong, cooperative relationships. Trust-building is a continuous process that underpins successful partnerships and long-term collaboration.

This 1-day course helps you develop the skills to foster trusted relationships across sectors, ensuring successful and sustainable partnerships. You’ll learn how to co-create shared social identities, nurture belonging, and develop ways to harness diversity to strengthen relationships.
