This major focuses on extending your knowledge of the many social and historical meanings of music, and better appreciating its written and aural complexities.
Compulsory coursework engages you in advanced learning that targets a range of topics. You'll also complete research-based courses that provide the fundamental skills required to complete your honours research.
Choose between a written thesis or creative practice. In each field, you'll work with a supervisor to develop a research project and utilise appropriate frameworks and methodologies to analyse and present your conclusions.
