Bachelors of Music / Mathematics
Overview
Combining music and maths prepares graduates for careers that require both technical expertise and creativity.
Music is built on patterns, rhythms and harmonies that beautifully intertwine with mathematical concepts like fractions, symmetry and ratios.
Learning both disciplines sharpens problem-solving skills, enhances memory, and fosters a unique way of thinking that blends artistic expression with structured reasoning.
From composing intricate melodies to analysing the mathematical precision behind sound waves, this combination fuels innovation—whether in music composition, acoustics, or even AI-driven sound engineering.
Plus, history proves that great minds like Einstein and Pythagoras found deep connections between maths and music, proving they are more powerful together than apart!
