Project description
You will undertake a fully funded scholarship in the area of synthetic organic electrochemistry.
Electrochemical methods for the synthesis of organic compounds are becoming increasingly important in academia as well as in chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
The project involves the development of novel electrochemical methods for the preparation of organic scaffolds that are key intermediates in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals.
Research environment
You will be based in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland.

A working knowledge of organic synthesis would be of benefit to someone working on this project.
