Overview

Our technical postgraduate program for engineers wanting to combine further studies in their field, with management or business. This program can be taken in 2 years.

The Master of Engineering Science (Management) is designed for applicants with a background in engineering. You will have an engineering degree and be looking to expand your skills in leadership and/or management. You may also be looking to broaden career options to a career beyond engineering.

Your future is in industry, as an engineer with deeper technical skills in your engineering field, or you will be looking to move into leadership or management roles.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for entry, you'll need:

  • a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (see below), or
  • a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering which includes all of the relevant discipline content.
 You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification
* Please note that if a graduate certificate (or graduate diploma) from the same program suite is used as the basis of entry into the program and you do not have a degree in the relevant discipline, you will not be eligible for credit towards the Masters program
